The 6th Zermatt Festival under the new direction of Giovanna Panese will present a series of first-class concerts in Europe’s highest-altitude concert venues at up to 2222 metres above sea level.

A new series of pre-concert events will take place in the Zermatterhof on Friday and Saturday, with musicians and musicologists talking about the fascinating backgrounds to the listed pieces. Admission is free.
Tried & tested
The ECAV, The Valais Academy of Arts, is again taking part in the festival with discovery workshops on “Worlds of Sound” for children aged 7-12. The workshops will be held from 9 – 17 h on Saturday, 18 September and participation is free. Registration is required.
